As per the 2021 census, the rural municipality has a total population of 43,044, comprising 21,511 males (50.0%) and 21,533 females (50.0%), with a literacy rate of 69.34%. Spanning 50.78 square kilometers, Sammarimai Rural Municipality exhibits the population density of 848 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 7 wards.
