Resunga

Resunga Municipality is one of the 12 municipalities in Gulmi District of Lumbini Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 31,551, comprising 14,550 males (46.1%) and 17,001 females (53.9%), with a literacy rate of 85.37%. Spanning 83.74 square kilometers, Resunga Municipality exhibits the population density of 377 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 14 wards.

According to the latest publicly available report of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Resunga has 48 schools. Of these, 8 are private and 40 are public. The breakdown includes 39 pre-schools, 38 basic schools, and 19 secondary schools. Among the secondary schools, 7 offer +2 programs.
