Raskot Municipality is one of the 9 municipalities in Kalikot District of Karnali Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 17,425, comprising 8,544 males (49.0%) and 8,881 females (51.0%), with a literacy rate of 72.01%. Spanning 59.73 square kilometers, Raskot Municipality exhibits the population density of 292 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 9 wards.

According to the latest publicly available report of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Raskot has 45 schools. Of these, 5 are private and 40 are public.
