Punarbas Municipality is one of the 9 municipalities in Kanchanpur District of Sudurpashchim Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 61,748, comprising 28,155 males (45.6%) and 33,593 females (54.4%), with a literacy rate of 78.16%. Spanning 103.71 square kilometers, Punarbas Municipality exhibits the population density of 595 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 11 wards.
