Panchakanya Rural Municipality is one of the 12 municipalities in Nuwakot District of Bagmati Province. As per the 2021 census, the rural municipality has a total population of 13,818, comprising 6,747 males (48.8%) and 7,071 females (51.2%), with a literacy rate of 68.65%. Spanning 53.47 square kilometers, Panchakanya Rural Municipality exhibits the population density of 258 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 5 wards.
