Kailari Rural Municipality is one of the 13 municipalities in Kailali District of Sudurpashchim Province. As per the 2021 census, the rural municipality has a total population of 49,917, comprising 24,080 males (48.2%) and 25,837 females (51.8%), with a literacy rate of 72.45%. Spanning 233.27 square kilometers, Kailari Rural Municipality exhibits the population density of 214 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 9 wards.
