Kabilasi

Kabilasi Municipality is one of the 20 municipalities in Sarlahi District of Madhesh Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 44,204, comprising 22,452 males (50.8%) and 21,752 females (49.2%), with a literacy rate of 53.21%. Spanning 48.11 square kilometers, Kabilasi Municipality exhibits the population density of 919 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 10 wards.

According to the latest publicly available report of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Kabilasi has 43 schools. Of these, 10 are private and 30 are public. The breakdown includes 38 pre-schools, 43 basic schools, and 8 secondary schools. Among the secondary schools, 4 offer +2 programs.
