Jitpur Simara

Jitpur Simara Sub-Metropolitan City is one of the 16 municipalities in Bara District of Madhesh Province. As per the 2021 census, the sub-metropolitan city has a total population of 127,307, comprising 63,927 males (50.2%) and 63,380 females (49.8%), with a literacy rate of 71.67%. Spanning 312.18 square kilometers, Jitpur Simara Sub-Metropolitan City exhibits the population density of 408 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 24 wards.

According to the latest publicly available report of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Jitpur Simara has 108 schools. Of these, 49 are private and 54 are public. The breakdown includes 91 pre-schools, 108 basic schools, and 43 secondary schools. Among the secondary schools, 17 offer +2 programs.
