Ishanath Municipality is one of the 18 municipalities in Rautahat District of Madhesh Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 51,855, comprising 25,772 males (49.7%) and 26,083 females (50.3%), with a literacy rate of 56.47%. Spanning 35.17 square kilometers, Ishanath Municipality exhibits the population density of 1,474 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 9 wards.
