As per the 2021 census, the rural municipality has a total population of 19,296, comprising 8,406 males (43.6%) and 10,890 females (56.4%), with a literacy rate of 82.1%. Spanning 79.99 square kilometers, Gulmidarbar Rural Municipality exhibits the population density of 241 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 7 wards.
