Gujara Municipality is one of the 18 municipalities in Rautahat District of Madhesh Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 54,033, comprising 26,396 males (48.9%) and 27,637 females (51.1%), with a literacy rate of 61.84%. Spanning 150.33 square kilometers, Gujara Municipality exhibits the population density of 359 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 9 wards.
