As per the 2021 census, the rural municipality has a total population of 18,737, comprising 9,229 males (49.3%) and 9,508 females (50.7%), with a literacy rate of 71.7%. Spanning 184.12 square kilometers, Golanjor Rural Municipality exhibits the population density of 102 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 7 wards.
