Gaidahawa Rural Municipality is one of the 16 municipalities in Rupandehi District of Lumbini Province. As per the 2021 census, the rural municipality has a total population of 56,149, comprising 27,847 males (49.6%) and 28,302 females (50.4%), with a literacy rate of 71.3%. Spanning 96.79 square kilometers, Gaidahawa Rural Municipality exhibits the population density of 580 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 9 wards.

According to the latest publicly available report of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Gaidahawa has 46 schools. Of these, 12 are private and 22 are public.
