As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 12,233, comprising 6,080 males (49.7%) and 6,153 females (50.3%), with a literacy rate of 70.92%. Spanning 393.57 square kilometers, Tripurasundari Municipality exhibits the population density of 31 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 11 wards.
