Darma Rural Municipality is one of the 10 municipalities in Salyan District of Karnali Province. As per the 2021 census, the rural municipality has a total population of 20,139, comprising 9,755 males (48.4%) and 10,384 females (51.6%), with a literacy rate of 77.21%. Spanning 81.46 square kilometers, Darma Rural Municipality exhibits the population density of 247 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 6 wards.
