Madi Municipality is one of the 7 municipalities in Chitwan District of Bagmati Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 38,295, comprising 18,083 males (47.2%) and 20,212 females (52.8%), with a literacy rate of 79.19%. Spanning 218.24 square kilometers, Madi Municipality exhibits the population density of 175 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 9 wards.
