As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 76,507, comprising 36,951 males (48.3%) and 39,556 females (51.7%), with a literacy rate of 71.48%. Spanning 366.67 square kilometers, Buddhabhumi Municipality exhibits the population density of 209 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 10 wards.
