As per the 2021 census, the rural municipality has a total population of 28,570, comprising 14,778 males (51.7%) and 13,792 females (48.3%), with a literacy rate of 53.7%. Spanning 28.09 square kilometers, Bishnu Rural Municipality exhibits the population density of 1,017 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 8 wards.
