Bidur Municipality is one of the 12 municipalities in Nuwakot District of Bagmati Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 59,227, comprising 28,449 males (48.0%) and 30,778 females (52.0%), with a literacy rate of 77.12%. Spanning 130.01 square kilometers, Bidur Municipality exhibits the population density of 456 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 13 wards.
