As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 28,192, comprising 12,552 males (44.5%) and 15,640 females (55.5%), with a literacy rate of 76.91%. Spanning 159.13 square kilometers, Bhumikasthan Municipality exhibits the population density of 177 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 10 wards.
