As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 34,712, comprising 16,630 males (47.9%) and 18,082 females (52.1%), with a literacy rate of 78.13%. Spanning 132.5 square kilometers, Bhimeshwor Municipality exhibits the population density of 262 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 9 wards.
