Bheri Municipality is one of the 7 municipalities in Jajarkot District of Karnali Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 37,892, comprising 18,376 males (48.5%) and 19,516 females (51.5%), with a literacy rate of 75.12%. Spanning 219.77 square kilometers, Bheri Municipality exhibits the population density of 172 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 13 wards.

According to the latest publicly available report of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Bheri has 64 schools. Of these, 8 are private and 56 are public. The breakdown includes 48 pre-schools, 62 basic schools, and 12 secondary schools. Among the secondary schools, 3 offer +2 programs.
