Belauri Municipality is one of the 9 municipalities in Kanchanpur District of Sudurpashchim Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 53,910, comprising 25,375 males (47.1%) and 28,535 females (52.9%), with a literacy rate of 79.28%. Spanning 123.37 square kilometers, Belauri Municipality exhibits the population density of 437 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 10 wards.
