Banfikot Rural Municipality is one of the 6 municipalities in Western Rukum District of Karnali Province. As per the 2021 census, the rural municipality has a total population of 21,033, comprising 10,174 males (48.4%) and 10,859 females (51.6%), with a literacy rate of 74.93%. Spanning 190.42 square kilometers, Banfikot Rural Municipality exhibits the population density of 110 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 10 wards.
