Bahradashi

Bahradashi Rural Municipality is one of the 15 municipalities in Jhapa District of Koshi Province. As per the 2021 census, the rural municipality has a total population of 37,946, comprising 18,038 males (47.5%) and 19,908 females (52.5%), with a literacy rate of 79.15%. Spanning 88.44 square kilometers, Bahradashi Rural Municipality exhibits the population density of 429 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 7 wards.

According to the latest publicly available report of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Bahradashi has 32 schools. Of these, 13 are private and 15 are public. The breakdown includes 23 pre-schools, 32 basic schools, and 15 secondary schools. Among the secondary schools, 4 offer +2 programs.
