RBB-Level 6, Assistant Manager & Assistant Manager (Cash) Exam · सहायक प्रबन्धक तथा सहायक प्रबन्धक (नगद)

For the RBB-Level 6, Assistant Manager & Assistant Manager (Cash) सहायक प्रबन्धक तथा सहायक प्रबन्धक (नगद) positions, candidates are selected through a written exam and an interview.

Written Exam- 200 Marks

The written examination, the first stage, is divided into two subject-based papers, each carrying 100 marks, lasting three hours.

  1. The first paper focuses on banking, accounting, financial analysis, and economic policy.
  2. The second paper for Assistant Manager (Cash) covers economy, money, management, service, strategic planning, problem identification, and solutions. However, for Assistant Managers, components of IT are also added to the curriculum.

Though the outline of the syllabus seems almost identical, there are some variations in the content of the syllabus. To get details about those variations, check the syllabus section below.

Each paper may include a single long question, questions with multiple parts, or several short notes under one question. To ensure clarity and standardization, candidates must use only a black ballpoint or ink pen to write their answers. To qualify, candidates must score at least 40% on each paper.

Interview

The second stage is an interview worth 30 marks.

As per the prevailing rules of Rastriya Banijya Bank.

Probation Period

6 months for female employees and 1 year for male employees.

Other Service Conditions

As per the Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) Limited, Employee Service Regulations, 2070 (including the seventh amendment).

Posting of the Appointee

Employees appointed to Assistant Manager and Assistant Manager (Cash) positions (Level 6) will be posted to work in the respective provinces and their branch offices (for Bagmati Province, offices outside the Kathmandu Valley) for a minimum of 5 years.

Eligibility

Academic Qualification

Master's degree with a major in Economics from a recognized institution in Management, Commerce, Public Administration, or Humanities.

Age Limit

As of the online application deadline, applicants must be at least 21 years old and no older than 35. However, women and disabled candidates are eligible to apply up to the age of 40. These age limits do not apply to current permanent employees of the bank.
