Women in Action - Art Exhibition

In celebration of Women's Day, The Tehra Family, in collaboration with AMKAS is organizing an art exhibition at Davu Gallery Cafe, Basantapur. The event titled, 'Women in Action', will feature the art work of 20 women artists and include: paintings, sketches, and photographs. 

The upcoming exhibit aims to showcase the accomplishments of women throughout the ages, encompassing those who have played pivotal roles in science, the arts, politics, and social justice movements. Additionally, it seeks to draw attention to persisting problems such as gender-based violence, pay inequality, and underrepresentation of women in positions of authority.

While the exhibition will be open to people of all genders, the main target audience of the event are people who identify as women. The exhibition aims to inspire and strengthen women, showcasing the vital and invaluable role that they play in art and culture. It will feature diverse pieces from artists across the globe, highlighting the magnificence of the female experience and providing a forum for self-expression. Women of all ages, backgrounds, and capabilities are encouraged to visit the exhibit to discover more about themselves and the multitude of contributions made by extraordinary women throughout history.

The theme of the event is "Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality".
