VEE Studio and Kabaadi.com successfully completed the grand finale of Cover Songsters, one of the events under The Indoor Times Campaign on June 19.
The competition started on 17th May where 100+ responses were received among which, videos of only 45 contestants were featured on different social media platforms. The contestants for semi finale were chosen on the basis of 60% social media engagement and 40% manual judging by music experts and the announcement of 10 was done by 12th June. During this process, there were pre-events like 5+ quizzes and melodic photography contests with lots of prizes and a lucky draw among the audience at the end.
There were 10+ partners and Gyapu was the main sponsor of the largest digital cover singing competitions in Nepal.
The grand finale was attended by 200+ virtual audiences. Both national and international judges Mr. Roshan Sharma, Mr. Janak Tamrakar, Raika Sethi from India, and guests like Sanjay Mahat Dracul, Julia Schetelig from Germany were present during the finale, where Ms. Roselyn Shrestha was the chief guest. The finale took place from 12:00 pm - 5:30 pm. The judges and guests also conducted sessions on mental resilience.
The event further included performances by the organizing team members Bijay Das, Sandesh Sitaula, Divyanshu Rai along with some of the top 10 participants.

People's Choice Award Winner: Purnima Mahara
The total prize pool amounted to more than NPR 15000 for winners.
The Indoor Times Campaign is 20 to 30 days long event with 5 series and every one of them will be accompanied by the finale. The campaign is launched in an effort to help people cope with the information overload in these stressful times by providing them an alternative option of entertainment. The crowd stuck at home can now enjoy singing competitions, quizzes, games, live celebrity performances among others from the comfort of their living rooms by following the campaign on social media.
