The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) provides emerging student leaders with a scholarship for a semester of non-degree academic study at a U.S. college or university. Administered by the U.S. Department of State, the program aims to include underrepresented backgrounds. Participants experience U.S. society, culture, and academics, enhancing professional skills.
Assigned to a U.S. university for either fall 2024 or spring 2025, participants cannot choose the host institution. They enroll in full-time, non-degree coursework, including a mandatory 3-credit U.S. studies course. Living in campus housing, participants engage in 20 hours of community service and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA for good academic standing.
