Nepal Technology Innovation Center (NTIC) announces the Techno Fair, taking place at Kathmandu University in Dhulikhel. The NTIC is a state-of-the-art research center dedicated to Energy, Health, and Agriculture, established through the impressive KU-IRDP/NTIC initiative. This initiative received substantial support with a USD 10 million investment from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and efficient management by Jeonbuk National University (JBNU).

The objective of this event is to present the remarkable accomplishments of around 50 exhibitors while offering a platform for exchanging knowledge, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation. Throughout the Techno Fair, they have a captivating schedule filled with engaging sessions and demonstrations that are simply unmissable:

The Techno Fair will take place from August 8th to 10th, 2023. 

Event Schedule

  • Management of Technology Seminar (Day1): A seminar focused on effective strategies, best practices, and emerging trends in managing technological innovations across various sectors, providing valuable insights for professionals, researchers, and industry leaders.

  • Testing and Accreditation Equipment Tutorial (Day 1): Gain a firsthand understanding of the latest technologies and methodologies used in testing, quality assurance, and accreditation processes through a captivating demonstration, showcasing their applications and benefits.

  • Start-ups Demo Session (Day 2): Witness the innovative ideas, products, and services of start-ups as they showcase their potential to investors, partners, and customers.

  • Research and Business Development Poster Presentation (Day 2): Explore the progress, insights, and findings of 15 grantees who will present their research and business development projects through an interactive poster presentation.

  • Smart Health Platform Demonstration (Day 2): Experience the unveiling of a smart health platform, a first-of-its-kind demonstration in Nepal, showcasing how technology can revolutionize healthcare services, improving quality and accessibility.

  • Idea Contest (Day 3): Participate in the idea contest and present your innovative ideas, competing for recognition while encouraging creativity and entrepreneurial thinking among attendees. Selected best ideas will get prize from Samsung mobiles and prize pool of NRs 50,000 sponsored by Samsung and Mandu Mo.
