Seed Financial Academy, Nepal’s first Platinum Approved Learning Partner of ACCA, is proud to present the ACCA Seed Cricket Tournament 2025, the first-ever cricket tournament exclusively dedicated to the ACCA community in Nepal.
The academy is thrilled to have AGK Partners as the Title Sponsor of this historic event. A respected UK-based accounting and advisory firm, AGK Partners has been actively involved in supporting professional growth in Nepal. Alongside them, Makesworth Accountants—a multi-award-winning UK firm—joins as the Associate Sponsor, known for their commitment to nurturing the next generation of accounting professionals.
A total of 16 teams will participate, representing ACCA learning providers, student communities, and corporate firms. The format includes 4 groups, each with 4 teams, competing in a round-robin league stage. The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals, followed by semifinals and an epic grand finale. This structure ensures every team gets multiple matches while building excitement through progressive elimination.
The tournament offers an exciting prize pool. The winning team will receive a cash prize of NPR 50,000, a champion’s trophy, and gold medals. The runner-up will be awarded NPR 30,000 and silver medals.
To recognize individual excellence, each match will feature a Man of the Match, awarded with a trophy and a special gift hamper. At the conclusion of the tournament, individual honors will be presented for Most Valuable Player (MVP), Best Batsman, and Best Bowler—each accompanied by cash prizes, trophies, and attractive gift hampers.
All matches will be broadcast live on Kasthamandap Television, enabling viewers to cheer for their teams from across the country.
The tournament is scheduled to take place from July 4 to July 6, 2025, at the Royal Sports Park in Budhanilkantha.
