College Readers in collaboration with HISSAN is set to organize "Public Speaking Championship 2020" for SEE students on ZOOM. Registration form is now open.

Rules for Public Speaking Championship 2020

• Participants shall be given 7 topics earlier. They can choose one of the available topics and prepare for the same.
• Speakers should use English as the language.
• Speech should not be less than three minutes and not more than five minutes in length.
• Prepare the speech video and send us. We will shortlist your video and keep it in our YouTube channel.
• Speakers shall be judged on the bases of the relevance of the video like, content, rhetoric, gestures, language accuracy, fluency, pronunciation, and confidence.
• The decision of the judges shall be final.

Topics for Speech Competition (Choose anyone of the following topics and prepare for the same.)

• Impacts of COVID-19 Pandemic on Nepalese Socio-economic Sphere
• Paradigm Shift in Nepalese Education System in the Post-Covid-19 Scenario
• Role of ICT in Education Development in Nepal
• COVID-19 Pandemic: Roles and Responsibilities of Government towards its citizens
• The Lock-down: Effectiveness and People Response
• The Post COVID-19 Era: Integrating Unity and Creating Opportunities
• Safeguarding Nepal’s Sovereignty over Border Disputes with Neighboring Countries

Rules for preparing Speech Video:

• The video should be in Full HD Quality and in Horizontal Orientation (Wide Format).
• The Video length should be Minimum 3 Minutes and Maximum 5 Minutes.
• The video should be well lit (Enough Light) so that performance should be clearly visible.
• We encourage the use of Microphones / Headphones for better audio quality.
• Video Editing for Smooth Performance is allowed.
• The Video Should not have been submitted at any other Contests or uploaded at any social media.
