The Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) is holding the 9th national conference on science and technology in Kathmandu on June 26-28, 2022, with the theme of "Science for Society and Innovation for Prosperity".
The Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) was founded in 1982 as an autonomous apex body to promote science and technology in Nepal. The Academy is charged with four key goals: advancing science and technology for the nation's overall development; preserving and modernizing indigenous technologies; promoting science and technology research; and identifying and facilitating acceptable technology transfer. To promote and cultivate scientific temperament, it is critical to impart scientific knowledge to society. Similarly, technology and innovation are critical to the country's success.
The conference is intended to attract experts, professionals, academicians, researchers, eminent and emerging scientists and technologists, policymakers, and scientific communities. It invites recent scientific and technology graduates to participate and share their findings. Nonetheless, all scientific communities are welcome to join the platform, including SAARC and international actors. People will be able to communicate and exchange ideas, learn new things, acquire information, and submit research findings using the platform.
