Nepal College of Information Technology (NCIT) is excited to host the NCIT Tech Competition, an event dedicated to evaluating and showcasing the technical skills of high school students.
This vibrant competition offers young innovators a platform to demonstrate their talents across various technical domains, including design and emerging technologies. Participants will have the opportunity to compete with their peers and gain recognition within the technical community.
The competition will include a Graphic Design and Web Design Contest.

Graphic Design Competition
Objective
Design an innovative solution (product, app, website, etc.) on "Sustainable Future.
Topics
- Approaches to Address Social Issues in Nepal
- Using Creative Design to Promote Travel and explore different tradition in Nepal
- Improving Nepalese Education through Innovative Design
Submission Guidelines
- Design submissions can be in any format, including but not limited to.
- Ensure your design is in a format that can be easily viewed and printed (e.g., A4, A3, or larger).
- Ensure your design is in a high-resolution format (e.g., 300 DPI or higher).
- Ensure that your design is in a color mode that is suitable for printing (e.g., CMYK or RGB).
- Design submissions can be in any format, including but not limited to:
- Visual designs (posters, brochures, logos, etc.)
- Digital designs (websites, apps, etc.)
- Product designs (products, packaging, etc.)
- Service designs (services, experiences, etc.)

Objective
Solve coding problems or develop a software solution on "Smart Solutions for Everyday Problems."

Submission Guidelines
- Submit your project in a compressed file format (e.g., .zip or .rar).
- Provide a written description (max. 500 words) of your project, including its purpose, features, target audience, and intended impact.
- Include a README file with detailed instructions on how to set up and run your project.
- Include all the source code files necessary to run your project.
- If applicable, include a link to an online demo of your project or a video demonstration.
Project Requirements
- Projects can be developed using any programming language or framework.
- Projects should address a specific problem or need within the chosen category and provide a viable solution.

Important Details
All registered candidates must attend an online webinar where competition details will be provided. The link to the webinar will be emailed to all registered participants one day prior to the event.
All participants in the competition will receive a participation certificate. The top 15 participants will advance to the next round, which will be held in a closed environment announced later. In this round, participants will prepare a presentation and a demo version of their product. Judges will evaluate the original works, providing both feedback and scores. The top two participants will be awarded cash prizes. Additionally, all participants advancing to the second round will be eligible for scholarships of up to Rs 2,50,000 at Nepal College of Information Technology.
