Second Kathmandu Road Safety Film Festival

Second Kathmandu Road Safety Film Festival is being organized on 30th of December 2019 at Russian Culture Center, Kathmandu.

The event is going to organized by Safe School Zone Nepal with the collaboration with National Road Safety Alliance Nepal and other organizations. 

In the Second Kathmandu Road Film Festival, the maximum film duration will be of 10 minutes.

Why Kathmandu Road Safety Film Festival?

Road Safety films can play important roles to raise awareness among people to reduce the road accidents. The main objectives of the program are follows:

a. To create awareness on road safety. 

b. To enhance Drive tourism and Safe & Sustainable mobility right.

c. To help shape people’s understanding of and attitudes towards road safety.

d. To work as a pressure group to planning & policy and help improve road safety.

e. To sensitize people by raising awareness about road traffic injuries, their grave consequences and thus build community involvement on the issues of Road Safety.

f. To make people understand knowledge, skills and ideas in simple and easiest way.

g. To change the attitudes and behaviors of road users.

h. To promote a positive attitude towards enforcement laws.

i. Creation of the best videos on road safety awareness through competition because competition encourages people to bring innovative ideas.
