Considering the growing interest towards IT education in the country, an attempt was made by Nepal College of Information Technology (NCIT), for the first time in Nepal, to provide a common platform to IT students for sharing their views and ideas by organizing a national level IT conference: National Students Conference in Information Technology (NaSCoIT) in the year 2003 AD with the theme 'IT for Nation Development'.
NCIT which has always been involved in promoting and fostering research activities in the field of ICT is organizing the Ninth edition of National Conference on Information Technology (Fourth International IT Conference on ICT for Smart Computing) with the theme "ICT for Smart Computing" on December 29, 2018.
The conference aims to bring together research scholars and academicians from all walks of life who are involved in the field of Information and Communication Technology to come forward and present their papers/work and disseminate information regarding their resent research and findings.
Paper should be submitted in soft-copy, either by e-mail nascoit@ncit.edu.np) or you can submit the paper here.
The Conference will comprise of Keynote addresses by eminent IT personalities followed by presentation of papers and group discussions divided into various technical sessions throughout the day.
Abstract of not more than 250 words in English should be submitted to the organizing committee for necessary approval. After the acceptance of the abstract, the authors are required to submit full-length papers, which should not be more than eight pages. More than one author can submit a paper jointly but in case of joint authorship, the first author must be student. Along with the paper, a recommendation letter from the concerned university/college must also be submitted. The author(s) must follow the guidelines for the paper submission.
