Hult Prize at TU School of Management: Call for Applications

Hult Prize at School of Management (SOM), Tribhuvan University invites application from all the students of Tribhuvan University affiliated colleges for the third edition of Hult Prize at Tribhuvan University. 

Hult Prize at School of Management Tribhuvan University, is the event where all the non-science / non technical student entrepreneurs will be asked to create viable start-up centered on the theme of the Hult. Hult Prize On Campus Program is the quarterfinal round of the Hult Prize, the winners of which will advance to the Regional Summit. This year Hult Prize Challenge is Bold Business for a Better Planet.

The Hult Prize Foundation is a start-up accelerator for budding young social entrepreneurs emerging from universities around the world. The annual competition for the Hult Prize aims to build and launch the most compelling social business ideas-start-up enterprise that tackles grave issues faced by billions of people every day. The winning team will receive USD 1 million in seed capital, as well as mentor ship and advice from the international business community. The aim of the Hult Prize is to breed the next generation of social entrepreneurs and ultimately launch a start-up social enterprise that can radically change the world.

SOMTU also organized Hult Prize last year where there were 32 teams and 16 jury members. Team “Srasta” was declared as the winner and Team "Gras Ruts" stood as the “runner-up”. The winning team had an opportunity to present their ideas in the regional competition. The student outreach of this competition is extraordinary as more than 4,00,000 students from Tribhuvan University will be a part of this competition.
