GoldenGate Basketball Club: 3x3 Basketball Tournament for SEE Appeared Students

Golden Gate Basketball Club is organizing a 3x3 Basketball Tournament targeting SEE appeared students, offering young basketball players a platform to compete, gain exposure, and showcase their talent.

The tournament will be held on 8 and 9 Jestha 2083 (May 22–23, 2026) at Batisputali, Kathmandu. The competition will feature both boys’ and girls’ categories.

According to the organizer, the event aims to encourage emerging basketball talent while creating pathways for training and selection opportunities in competitive basketball.

Winning teams in both boys’ and girls’ categories will receive cash prizes. Winners will receive Rs. 20,000, while runner-up teams will receive Rs. 10,000. The tournament will also recognize outstanding individual performance with an MVP award featuring basketball shoes.

All participating students will get the opportunity to attend a free 15-day basketball camp conducted by Head Coach Manish Nakarmi along with national-level players. Participants will also have the chance to be selected for the GoldenGate Basketball Team, a 13-time national champion club.
