Corona Awareness Content Production Competition
"Keep a 6-foot distance to protect yourself from the corona virus."
Background
At a time when Nepal is struggling with the scourge of global warming, Nepal is making various efforts to prevent this disease.
However, infections with the virus are on the rise. Due to the poverty, women and children and backwardness, people’s lives are becoming more and more difficult and the social, economic and humanitarian problems of the people are getting worse.
In such a situation, the message of youth leadership for the purpose of providing accurate and positive information to all, some information dissemination materials are being prepared. In this context Women in Information Technology (WIIT) has organized a competition to raise awareness about this corona.
WIIT works for professional support in the field of information and communication technology and for the meaningful support of women in this field. It is a group of women who are doing it. This organization mainly targets women in the field of information and communication technology.
Encouraging women and adolescents to take up this field and make significant contributions by recognizing their strengths and abilities. The main objective of this program is to raise awareness about maintaining 6 feet distancing (Social Distancing) to avoid the corona virus.
The development of positive thinking and knowledge by preparing materials is aimed at empowering people to fight against gecko. In this process of Preparation of Audio and Video Features, it is believed that the youth will be mobilized.
Procedures to be followed in the Competition
- For participation, view WIIT's Facebook page "Women in Information Technology" or WIIT's Website. Click on “Audio / Video Contest Link” at “www.wiit.org.np” and fill up the form along with required details. Then, upload audio or video.
- Such audio or video must be informative on 6 feet distancing (Social Distancing) and 45-second or less Audio or Video on Corona Pandemic (the contestant himself must be present).
- Completion of the process of uploading the form or application by 05/04/2077 (20/07/2020).
- The applicant must be at least twenty years of age or younger.
- The contestant will have to prepare informative material in Nepali language. One participant can submit one content only.
- Selection committee will select the 10 best audio and 20 best video for further process.
- After selecting the content, they will be posted on the WIIT's Facebook page, then 3 audios and 3 videos will be selected based on the most LIKES received.
- Rewards have been provided as an incentive to the best contributors.
