Aviyantaa 24: Kathmandu University Association of Mechanical Engineering Students

Aviyantaa is an annual event organized by the Association of Mechanical Engineering Students (AMES), the student club of the Department of Mechanical Engineering (DoME) at Kathmandu University. The main objective of Aviyantaa is to provide exposure to semester projects performed by undergraduate students at DoME.

So far, AMES has successfully organized this event for six consecutive years with the titles Aviyantaa’14, Aviyantaa’15, Aviyantaa’16 and Aviyantaa’17, Aviyantaa’18,  Aviyantaa’19, and Aviyantaa’23 in November 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017,2018, 2019, and 2023, respectively. Seven volumes of the departmental yearbook, also titled' Aviyanta’, have been released so far. The yearbook comprises project abstracts of undergraduate students with technical articles.

The visitors mainly comprise guests including the Vice Chancellor, Registrar, KU professors and respected KU delegates, University Students, DoME alumni, our sponsors, university teaching and non-teaching staff, and representatives of many different colleges from inside and outside Kathmandu Valley.
