Madan Bhandari Memorial College, located in New Baneshwor, is celebrating its 25th anniversary. To mark this significant "Silver Jubilee" milestone, the college has organized a week-long series of educational, social, and creative programs running from Asar 8 to Asar 14.
Established on Asar 14, 2058 B.S., as a non-profit community institution, the college was founded to honor the legacy of the late People’s Leader (Jananeta) Madan Bhandari. Over the past two and a half decades, the institution has established itself as a prominent name in Nepal's academic sector, recently earning the Quality Assurance and Accreditation (QAA) from the University Grants Commission. The Silver Jubilee celebrations were designed to reflect the college’s motto, "Vibrant Leadership for Transformation."

The celebration begins with an Inauguration Ceremony and the launch of a photo exhibition showcasing the college’s 25-year history. The e-sports competition, Mobile Legends Bang Bang Final Round, also commences. - Day 2 (Asar 9, Tuesday)
Focused on professionalism, a 'Career Expo' will provide placement opportunities and direct contact with employers. Activities include interactions with industrialists, a special radio dialogue on 'Startup and Entrepreneurship' via Radio Shwet Shardul, a 'Food Fest' with local stalls, and the continuation of e-sports. - Day 3 (Asar 10, Wednesday)
This day highlights social responsibility through a 'Grand Free Health Camp and Blood Donation Program' that involves multiple hospital partners. Additionally, the e-sports final match will take place alongside painting and handicraft competitions and exhibitions. - Day 4 (Asar 11, Thursday)
Dedicated to former and current students, this day includes an alumni reunion and a farewell for graduating students. Medals and prizes for yearly activities will be distributed, success stories will be shared, and cultural musical performances will be held. - Day 5 (Asar 12, Friday)
Academic engagement takes center stage with a 'Policy Dialogue on Community Campuses.' Expert sessions will also be conducted on contemporary topics such as gender violence, cybersecurity, digital literacy, and traffic awareness. - Day 6 (Asar 13, Saturday)
Community outreach includes honoring senior citizens in Gothatar and providing meals to young disciples at Virat Sanatan Dharma Sanskriti Vidhyapeeth. There will also be an inter-college interaction on "People's Leader Madan Bhandari: JABJA and Education." - Day 7 (Asar 14, Sunday)
The Main Ceremony features the Chief Guest, Honorable Vice Mr. President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav. The event includes the public release of the 'College Anthem,' the inauguration of the 'Shwet Shardul' magazine, and the distribution of honors to founders, teachers, and students.
