Pediatric surgery is the youngest subspecialty of surgery. National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) introduced Pediatric Surgery in Nepal from 2021 AD. Pediatric surgery is an extensive specialty in which one aims to become an expert in the surgery of every organ of the body. Neonatal surgery is the flagship subspecialty of Pediatric Surgery.
Number of seats in MCH in Paediatric Surgery at National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) for the academic year 2077/78 is one (1).
Eligibility
- MS General Surgery or equivalent - Candidate with MS (For example: MS Urology, MS Neurosurgery etc.) shall be eligible only in MCh program in the respective subject.
- Specialty Registration in Nepal Medical Council (or Medical Council of the respective country)
