MSIE is designed for purpose-driven learners who want more than a conventional degree. It is ideal for those passionate about social innovation, entrepreneurship, research, industry engagement, or global pathways — all while staying deeply rooted in Nepal’s social and cultural contexts.
Spanning five trimesters, the program unfolds across Nepal’s three major geographical regions — Terai (Janakpur), Pahad (Chitlang), and Himal (Mustang). Students spend 10 weeks in each region through intensive community immersions, followed by a six-month capstone project focused on Research, Industry, Entrepreneurship, or Global Immersion.
Community Immersions
The program is built on the philosophy of “Community as Curriculum.” It unfolds across three major community immersions:
- Terai (10 weeks)
- Pahad (10 weeks)
- Himal (10 weeks)
- Capstone Tracks (20 weeks)
