M. Sc. Bioinformatics program at Pokhara University aims to provide knowledge and skills to generate, store, retrieve, analyze and interpret biological information. It provides an opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in the acquisition, storage, retrieval, analysis, and interpretation of molecular data to determine and/or solve biological problems. A student needs to successfully complete 45 credit hours of course work and 15 credit hours of a research project for graduation.
Master in Bioinformatics at Pokhara University is a two-years course spread over four semesters. This course is offered at the School of Engineering, Pokhara University.
Eligibility
Candidates seeking admission on M.Sc Bioinformatics program must have four years Bachelor of Sciences in Biological, Medical, Biomedical, Pharmaceutical, Physical, Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree with a score of at least second division or 2.0/4.0 CGPA.
Admission Criteria
The applicants must pass the entrance exam conducted by Pokhara University.
