Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences (KUSMS) is running the DM in Critical Care Medicine program at Kathmandu University, and its affiliated colleges constitute the program. 

The entrance Test for the DM in Critical Care Medicine program is coDM in Critical Care Medicinenducted by the Medical Education Commission (MEC), Government of Nepal, and candidate selection is done as per MEC guidelines by MEC. 

The total Fee for DM in Critical Care Medicine in 2024 is NRs 25,90,000 for Nepali students. Students of foreign nationality must pay 1.6 times the fee of Nepalese students.

Eligibility

  1. MD Anesthesiology or equivalent  OR  MD Internal Medicine or equivalent  OR  MD Critical Care Medicine. 
  2. Specialty Registration in Nepal Medical Council (or Medical Council of the  respective country)

Examination Format 

  1. Question type: Single best response type of multiple-choice questions
  2. Option: Four options (A, B, C, D) 
  3. Number of questions: 200 (no negative marking) 
  4. Full marks: 200 
  5. Pass Marks: 100 
  6. Duration: 3 hours
