The Academy has been providing a Master of Theravada Buddhist Studies in cooperation with Lumbini Buddhist University. As a result, the curriculum is intended for both professionals who want to use Buddhist teachings in their daily lives and individuals who want to study Buddhism for spiritual growth. It also serves as a solid basis for individuals interested in pursuing research degrees in this field. The following courses are included in the Master's degree program: History of Buddhism in South and Southeast Asia, Research Methodology, Buddhist Ethics and Meditation, Buddhist Art and Architecture, Buddhism and Social Engagement, and Psychological Aspects of Buddhism. Students are also required to produce a research-based thesis.
