The Bachelor in Aviation Management (BAM) program, offered by Kathmandu University in collaboration with Simrik Ventures and Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute, is a four-year undergraduate course. It aims to equip students with the essential knowledge, skills, and practical training needed to effectively manage aviation operations, airlines, and airports. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including aviation law, safety and security, air traffic control, airport planning, airline operations, aviation finance, marketing, and human resource management. This program focuses on developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills to prepare students for the demands of the growing aviation industry in Nepal and globally.
Nepali or non-Nepali nationals must have a 10+2 or Intermediate or equivalent level in any discipline with a minimum of 40% in aggregate or a CGPA of 1.6 on a scale of 4.0, and a minimum 'D+' grade in each subject from a university/board recognized by Kathmandu University.
Note: Applicants who have appeared in the 12th-grade examination may apply on a provisional basis. Provisionally accepted applicants must satisfy the above eligibility criteria to continue their studies.
