The candidate applying for BTTM programme must have:

  • Completed twelve-year schooling (10+2) or equivalent from any University, Board or Institution recognised by Tribhuvan University.
  • Studied English as full paper at 10+2 or equivalent level.
  • Complied with all the application procedures.

The faculty members of the Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM), Public Youth Campus are dedicated to offering a high-quality educational experience by combining high academic standards with practical application. The faculty members' team is committed to preparing tomorrow's managers and leaders to cope effectively with the complex, competitive, and demanding world of Travel and Tourism Management. Faculty Members create great research conditions for top-tier researchers.

Currently, more than 70 full-time faculty members are working in management research. There are ten people with PhD degrees and extensive research expertise in applied business. In addition to them, there are visiting faculty members who are experts in various fields to help strengthen the Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM) faculty at this location.

Admission Procedure

Interested candidates to the BTTM course should apply in the prescribed form for entrance test within the prescribed time by the campus. The applicants should enclose with the application form, attested copies of:

  • Certificates and testimonials of all examinations passed.
  • Equivalency, Transfer and Character Certificates.
  • Two recent passport size photographs.
  • Must have secured 35% marks in the CMAT conducted by T.U.
  • Must pass the following admission tests:
    • Written Test: Applications are required to appear in the entrance test conducted by the Faculty of Management, TU. The test will follow the international testing pattern and standards. It includes: Verbal ability, Quantitative ability, Logical reasoning and General Awareness.
    • Group Discussion Test: Selected students from written test will be eligible for this test to show their talent and leadership quality in this phase of selection process. It includes the personality development and public speaking quality to show their hidden talent in logical reasoning in given subject matter.
    • Interview: Only short-listed candidates from the group discussion will be called for interview and select for the admission. The result will be published to notify this on the merit basis. If they pass the interview, they will be eligible for an admission.
