Social work is a field dedicated to assisting individuals in interacting as effectively as possible with their surroundings. Individuals, groups, families, organizations, and communities are served by B.S.W. graduates who work as entry-level generalist social workers. Concern for disadvantaged and underprivileged communities, as well as a desire to collaborate with them, are particularly important. The BASW level practitioner is regarded as a generalist with specialized knowledge in a few areas. Advocacy, referral, casework, and problem-solving functions are all included in the program. In addition, the program's main focus and identity is to train graduates for case management/community intervention jobs, which is a rapidly growing trend in Nepal. The core social work skills that the curriculum presently teaches are included in most case management/community intervention models.
