KIC introduced the first interior design course in Nepal. BID is an interior open space's comprehensively inventive solution.
Interior design is a field with broad boundaries in which construction, architecture, arts and crafts, technology, and product design all overlap. It encompasses conceptual planning, aesthetic, and technical solution applied to achieve the desired result. These topics are intertwined in an intriguing narrative that moves from cave dwellings and temple architecture through gothic cathedrals and renaissance locations onto the grand civic spaces of the 21st century and the sleek interior of modern skyscrapers.
BID seeks to develop students' abilities to create architectural interior drawings, comprehend design-related concepts, and plan any space for public and private facilities while serving the needs, requirements, and attractive, comfortable area of its users. It also aims to give students a sense of place in both public and private spaces for both group and individual activity.
